Micro School: Bridging Education & Healing

• In collaboration with the Royal Medical Services and the Bahrain Trust Foundation, the Micro Military School was established within the Children’s Ward and Pediatric Clinic at the Military Hospital. The launch took place in the presence of Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Her Highness Shaikha Maram bint Isa Al Khalifa, General Manager of Qarinat for the King of Bahrain’s Office, Brig. Gen. Dr. Mohamed Ahmed, Technical Assistant to the Commander of the Royal Medical Services, and Faten Ebrahim Al Moayyed, Vice Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Bahrain Trust Foundation.

• The Micro Military School provides hospitalized children with continued education, helping them stay engaged in their daily learning activities, follow up on lessons, and complete homework. This initiative has a positive impact on their well-being and contributes to their treatment process.

• Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa emphasized that maintaining education for sick children plays a crucial role in improving their psychological state, which in turn supports a faster recovery. She expressed confidence that the success of this initiative at the Military Hospital will encourage other healthcare institutions to adopt similar programs, aligning with Bahrain’s commitment to educational quality and continuity in the region. The project also aligns with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030, which prioritizes investing in human capital through education and creating an environment that fosters learning and development.
