Col. Prof. Manaf Alqahtani is a distinguished Internist and Infectious Diseases Consultant, as well as a Clinical Microbiologist. He holds several prominent positions, including Professor of Medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland-Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI-MUB), Chief of Medical Staff (Diagnostics) at the Military Hospital, and Acting Chief of Diagnostics and Allied Staff at the Bahrain Oncology Center (BOC). He also leads the Medical Laboratories and Infectious Diseases Departments at the Royal Medical Services (RMS) Hospitals. Prof. Manaf is a key member of the Regional Technical Advisory Groups on Immunization for the World Health Organization (WHO). His extensive qualifications include American and Canadian Board certifications in Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and Microbiology, along with a Master’s in Healthcare Management from Tulane University, USA, and Fellowship at the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland.
