Dr. Habib Al Taraif is a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon and currently serves as the Head of Cardiac Surgery at the Royal Medical Services–Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Specialist Cardiac Centre. He has been performing cardiac surgeries since 1992 and continues to do so today. It is worth noting that Dr. Habib was the first surgeon to perform an open-heart surgery in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
