Dr. Mohamed Al Shehabi is the Head of the Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery (ENT) Department at The Military Hospital. He also serves as the Designated Institutional Officer of the Saudi Board at The Military Hospital and is the Deputy Director of the Crown Prince Center for Training and Medical Research. Additionally, Dr. Mohamed heads the Continuous Education and Clinical Simulation (In-House Training Clinical) program. With 24 years of experience and having served as a Consultant since 2013, Dr.Mohamed is a highly esteemed figure in the field of ENT and medical education.

Dr. Mohamed is a leader in the adoption of advanced technologies in ENT and head and neck surgery.

He has pioneered the use of laser and radiofrequency coblation, benabling minimally invasive surgeries with greater precision andbfaster recovery. In the field of otology, he performs complex procedures including middle and inner ear surgeries, and cochlear and middle ear implants. Dr. Mohamed has significantly advanced hearing restoration techniques in Bahrain through the use of bon-anchored hearing aids and sound bridge implants, transforming the hearing outcomes for patients with chronic auditory deficits.
