Dr. Thamer Al Abbasi is a highly experienced Consultant General Surgeon with a specialized focus in Colorectal Surgery and Trauma and Acute Wound Care. As the Head of the Surgical Department at The Military Hospital–Royal Medical Services, Dr. Thamer has been instrumental in advancing surgical care within the region. With over 10 years of experience as a Consultant General Surgeon, his expertise is well-recognized both locally and internationally. Moreover, his extensive medical training includes residency in Toronto, Canada, followed by specialized fellowship training, making him board– certified by the American Board of Surgery.
