Prof. Leena Sulaibeekh, MD, FRCP, MSc, is a distinguished Consultant Cardiologist and the Chief of Medical Staff for Diagnostic Services at the Royal Medical Services-Mohammed Bin Khalifa Specialist Cardiac Centre. In addition to her clinical role, she serves as a Professor at the College of Medicine, The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland–Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI-MUB) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in Glasgow. Prof. Leena brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice focusing on diagnostic cardiac services.

In her cardiology practice, Prof. Leena utilizes a range of cutting-edge technologies, including Cardiac CT with Siemens Force,Cardiac MRI using Siemens 1.5 T, and the soon-to-be-installed Naeotom Alpha Cardiac CT system, scheduled for October 2024. She also employs advanced echocardiography techniques,including 3D imaging and strain analysis, using both Philips and GE platforms. These technologies support more accurate diagnostics and tailored treatment planning.Beyond diagnostics, Prof. Leena is actively involved in minimally invasive cardiac procedures as a member of the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVI) program and the Left Atrial Appendage Closure (LAAO) team. Her participation in these specialized programs highlights her commitment to delivering innovative, evidence-based cardiac care that prioritizes both precision and patient well-being.
