Maj. Dr. Hamad Ammar is a highly experienced Consultant in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Burn Surgery at Military Hospital–Royal Medical Services. With over 14 years of experience, he is a board-certified plastic surgeon and holds a Fellowship in Clinical Reconstructive Microsurgery from the Samsung Medical Center, affiliated with Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS). In addition, Dr. Hamad is an active faculty member at the Royal College of Surgeons, contributing to courses like Basic Surgical Skill.

His research has been featured in international journals, including a 2023 Wiley Microsurgery publication on using Indocyanine Green Angiography to evaluate recipient vessels during lower extremity reconstruction in ischemic vasculopathy.He has also pioneered non-microvascular approaches to rare trauma cases, such as salvaging a near-total ear avulsion using aheparin-based protocol (Plast Reconstr Surg Glob Open, 2021).Equipped with cutting-edge microsurgery instruments and high-magnification surgical loupes, Dr. Hamad ensures exceptional precision in nerve repair and free flap surgeries.
