Col. (Dr.) Salah Ali Abdulla Alghanem is the Head of the Emergency Medicine Department and Consultant at the Royal Medical Services, with over two decades of experience in emergency medicine, trauma, pre-hospital care, and disaster medicine. In addition to his clinical roles, he served as the immediate past Program Director for the Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program at Military Hospital. Dr. Salah holds a master ’s degree in healthcare management from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), bringing a strong leadership and management perspective to his clinical expertise. As a senior educator and trainer, Dr. Salah is deeply involved in the medical education of future healthcare professionals. His role as the Senior Lead Instructor spans across critical life-saving courses, including Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS).
