Dr. Mohamed Ahmed is a highly experienced radiologist with 30 years of expertise in the field. He earned his Bachelor's degree from King Faisal University. After completing his internship at Military Hospital, he joined the Radiology Department in 1989. He then completed a residency program in Ireland, where he obtained a fellowship in Diagnostic Radiology from the Faculty of Radiology in Ireland. Dr. Mohamed further specialized in body and interventional radiology at McMaster University in Ontario, Canada.

Over 25 years ago, he introduced numerous interventional radiology procedures and was responsible for establishing the MRI unit at the Military Hospital, enhancing the hospital's diagnostic capabilities. His ongoing work in procuring advanced equipment for the Radiology Department at King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH) has helped modernize the department, bringing state-of-the-art modalities to the Kingdom. A forward-thinking leader, Dr. Mohamed continues to champion the adoption of the latest interventional tools and imaging technologies, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and advancing the future of radiology in the region.
