Lt. Col. Dr. Hani Ebrahim Al Fadhel

Dr. Hani Ebrahim Al Fadhel is a highly experienced Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist currently serving as the Head of Radiology at the Military Hospital. He holds the European Board in Interventional Radiology and completed his Fellowship in Interventional Radiology from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Dr. Hani also underwent a residency program and Fellowship in Diagnostic Radiology at the Faculty of Radiology in Ireland and the Royal College of Radiologists in London, UK. Additionally, he earned a Fellowship in Body Imaging from the Faculty of Radiology in Ireland. With 24 years of service at the Royal Medical Services, including 13 years as a Consultant, Dr. Hani main area of interest lies in performing vascular, non-vascular, and oncology interventional procedures.

Dr. Hani has pioneered several advanced techniques and procedures within his specialization.
He is at the forefront of image-guided therapy and interventional radiology. He has pioneered the use of microwave thermal ablation for renal tumors and is a leader in performing selective embolization techniques, including uterine artery and varicocele embolization. In addition, he introduced arterial thrombectomy procedures for both peripheral arterial disease and acute stroke interventions at his institution expanding minimally invasive treatment options for patients and improving clinical outcomes. His integration of advanced imaging with cutting- edge interventional tools positions him as a key contributor to the evolution of radiologic care.
