Dr. Abdulrahman is recognized for performing rare and complex pediatric surgeries not widely available in Bahrain. He has successfully conducted advanced procedures such as esophageal atresia repair, imperforate anus correction, and minimally invasive diaphragmatic hernia and omphalocele repairs.
His center is the only one in Bahrain offering pediatric bladder urodynamics and endoscopic treatment for vesicoureteric reflux. It also serves as a regional referral hub for major hypospadias reconstructions, including complex cases requiring skin grafts. Additional innovations include bladder biofeedback therapy and pediatric cystoscopy using specialized tools for correcting rare urinary tract defects.
