Brig. Gen. Dr. Haitham Amin MSc, FRCPC, FSCAI, FRCPI, FACC, is a Consultant Invasive Cardiologist and currently serves as the General Manager of Medical Affairs at the Royal Medical Services–Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Specialist Cardiac Centre. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as well as the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. Dr. Haitham holds the American Board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology. Additionally, he is a Fellow of both the American College of Physicians and the American College of Cardiology, as well as the Society of Coronary Angiography and Interventions. His expertise is further recognized through his Fellowship with the Asia Pacific Interventional Cardiology Society. Complementing his clinical qualifications, Dr. Haitham also holds a Master’s degree in Quality in Healthcare, underscoring his commitment to excellence in patient care.

He also incorporates in travascular hemodynamic assessment methods, including FFR and RFR, to evaluate blood flow and optimize treatment strategies. Lastly. Dr. Haitham utilizes intravascular lithotripsy and rotational atherectomy, ensuring that his patients receive the most advanced and effective cardiac care available.
