Daily, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm

To ensure the safety of patients, it is prohibited for more than twovisitors to enter at the same time during the visit.

Registration of companions

Those who wish to stay with the patient in the ward mustregister their information at the nursing office upon their arrival to the relevant ward (allowed number: One companion only).

Visiting children

It’s preferable to avoid visiting children under the age of 14, for their safety.

Seasonal infection

If you have a seasonal disease, please avoid visiting sick people.

Infection transmission

To prevent transmission, wash your hands with soap and waterfrequently and use hand sanitizer before and after the visit.

Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited at King Hamad University Hospital, and it is notallowed to bring or use any form of tobacco, including electronic cigarettes.

Audio and photography recording

Photography, video recording, and voice recording areforbidden as per King Hamad University Hospital rules and policy.

Dear visitor, please;

  • Knock on the door and ask permission before entering the patient's room.

  • Ensure that the patient’s room door remain closed at all times.

  • Speak calmly and avoid actions that may disturb the patient, or other patients, or the staff at King Hamad University Hospital.

  • Avoid sitting on the patient's bed or touching any of the equipment in the patient's room.

  • Bringing in food and beverage from outside is prohibited unless the supervising physician has given a prior permission.
