Cancer and its treatment can evoke a wide range of emotions shock, anxiety, fear, feeling overwhelmed, guilt, loneliness and depressed mood affecting patient’s and family’s mental health. The department of Patient Well Being is a team of Psycho-oncologist, psychologist, patient educators and social worker that address the emotional, psychological, social and informational needs of the patient and their family as they cope with cancer and its treatment. The team focuses on providing compassionate support and comprehensive care to individuals and families facing the emotional challenges of cancer.
