Interventional cardiology services include: Diagnostic cardiac catheterization, Percutaneous coronary intervention including complex interventions and chronic total occlusion.

The centre holds a paediatric ward which consists of 10 fully equipped patient rooms, a playroom, and a paediatric garden. Our experienced paediatric interventional cardiologists use advanced catheterization techniques to diagnose, manage, and treat all congenital heart defects and diseases in children.

Our paediatric/congenital surgical procedures include: Atrial Septal Defect Closure (ASD), Ventricular septal Defect Closure (VSD), Patent Ductus Arteriosus Ligation (PDA).

Our critical care unit (CCU) consists of 20 fully equipped patient rooms and provides specialized, round-the-clock care for patients with serious medical conditions. Patients in the CCU are monitored 24/7 by specially trained staff who keep a close watch on each patient’s vital signs.

Our state-of-the-art Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) consists of 10 beds with a team of cardiovascular surgeons and specialized anaesthetists who are dedicated to saving and improving the lives of the most vulnerable patients.  

This unit consists of 12 fully equipped single patient rooms. The Day Case Unit (DCU) team accepts elective admissions for cardiac catheterization procedures, allowing patients to leave the hospital the same day.

Specialized services are provided for both minimally invasive and advanced cardiac procedures in five well-equipped catheterization laboratories.

The centre consists of 2 fully equipped operation theatres, in addition to a spacious hybrid operation theatre. The hybrid theatre is equipped with the Philips Azurion system which is designed to optimize workflow in hybrid operation theatres.

RMS-MKCC holds a group of specialized cardiac outpatient clinics, all of which are equipped with the latest modern diagnostic technologies. The outpatient department consists of 14 consultation rooms including VIP consultation rooms.

The Cardiac Transfer Clinic (CTC) at RMS-MKCC operates 24/7 to accommodate emergency cardiac cases at all times. The clinic includes 13 beds, a resuscitation room, and an isolation room, allowing the facility to provide immediate care for all cardiac cases.

Equipped with state-of-the-art tools like advanced ultrasound machines, stress testing equipment, and electrocardiography devices, the diagnostic department offers comprehensive evaluations, testing, diagnostics, and treatment options to all patients.

Computed Tomography (CT) The cardiac centre installed a state-of-the-art Siemens (SOMATOM Force) CT scanner. This advanced Dual Source scanner provides faster and more precise diagnoses while minimizing radiation and contrast usage.

RMS-MKCC Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation department offers evidence-based services to medical, surgical, and paediatric patients, by a team of highly qualified physiotherapists specialized in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy.

Cardiology We offer a full range of cardiology services for both common and complex conditions including: Heart checkups, Sports cardiology, Device implantation and extraction, Electrophysiology.

Electrophysiology services include: Advanced diagnostics including 3D electro-anatomical mapping, Catheter heart ablation.
