The Commander of the Royal Medical Services hosts Renowned Neurosurgery and Neurology Specialists

RMS hosted renowned specialists under Bahrain’s Visiting Physician Program, supporting knowledge transfer and joint efforts to improve neurological treatments and patient outcomes nationally.

As part of the National Visiting Physician Program implemented by the Royal Medical Services in collaboration with the Supreme Committee for Treatment Abroad, His Excellency Brig. Dr. Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Medical Services and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Treatment Abroad, hosted Professor Andres M. Lozano, Functional Neurosurgery Consultant, Professor Ali Zirh, Functional Neurosurgery Consultant, and Professor Dr. Gulay Kinangil, Neurology and Movement Disorder Consultant, during their visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Upon the meeting's initiation, His Excellency welcomed the Specialized Medical Team in Neurosurgery, Functional Neurology, and Movement Disorders, commending their dedicated efforts and invaluable collaboration in the treatment of complex medical cases, His Excellency highlighted the significant impact of their contributions in providing advanced medical care locally, thereby reducing the necessity for patients to seek treatment abroad. He emphasized the importance of joint efforts, expanding partnerships, and strengthening cooperation in all healthcare, medical, research, training, and educational fields to achieve shared aspirations and benefits for all.
