The Royal Medical Services (RMS) has announced the purchase of the VELYS Robotic-Assisted System for knee replacement surgery, which will be available at the Military Hospital starting in March. This system is the first and only one of its kind in the Middle East.
His Excellency Brig. Gen. Dr. Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Medical Services and Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon, emphasized the importance of keeping up with the latest technological advancements in medical treatments to enhance efficiency and patient care.
